Why come here to ride?

We think that the Lake District is one of the best spots for riding natural terrain in Europe, thanks to a network of well-kept trails, excellent bike facilities and countless pubs, cafes and villages where you can rest and refuel. If you are prepared to earn your turns then the Lakes boasts a variety of trails, including steep mountain descents, technical rock gardens, twisting singletrack, forest trails and wide grassy descents.

There is something for everyone and every route offers a different perspective of this stunning National Park. If the weather is poor, there are plenty of excellent low-level trails to explore too.

To the east, the Yorkshire Dales caters to a range of mountain biking abilities with rolling hills, forest singletrack and challenging rocky descents. This beautifully wild and serene landscape can feel worlds away from a busy Lakeland fell in the height of summer season.

Amazing private photography tour of The Lakes. Chris was extremely professional and gave me plenty of time. Bespoke experience is highly recommended, especially if you are on a short visit and want make the most of your time.

We had such a fantastic day, we got exactly what we wanted from our activity day! Chris was a great instructor, so positive and enthusiastic, it was brilliant to have one to one tuition.

A fantastic day spent in the outdoors with lovely company and loads of guidance from Chris and Lynn. Canoeing, making the pancakes, learning to gather kindling and light a fire made the day most enjoyable.
