As we know the regions well we will select routes near your holiday location and will then show you not only some amazing rides, like circuits of Lowswater and Buttermere, and exploring Grizedale or Whinlatter forests, in The Lake District. Great trails around Malham or The Howgills in The Yorkshire Dales.

Longer rides can be found around Skiddaw and Blencathra, and for those those up for a challenge Helvellyn and High Street in The Lake District or Dentdale and Tour de Ingleborough in The Yorkshire Dales await.

Most mountain biking in these regions is in stunning locations that also contain some great spots for brews and cakes

There are routes throughout The Lake District and The Yorkshire Dales to suite all rider abilities and as its your day, you will be setting the pace, on quiet tracks, lake shores, challenging climbs, exposed ridges, rolling hills and exciting descents.

  • Hennie wanted to experience mountain biking the trails of The Lake District while on a family holiday with his three sons, all are keen cyclists, who mainly ride and race on roads in Holland

  • We met them at their hotel and drove them to Grizedale forest, where we spent an afternoon training the boys to ride off road - then the following day led them on a ride of some 40km around the Central Lake District
