Through training all year round, by joining and aiding all you lovely people with your holiday needs, we are privileged to be able to partake in some of the amazing trails and challenges which occur frequently in the area.

With summer still upon us – just and so – it is the perfect time to not only grab yourself one of our value for money adventurous self-guided holiday packages, but also to consider testing your metal against some of the country’s best courses. September is a great month to consider both with the sun still shining and the weather cooling to not so scalp-scaldingly- clement.

Lakeland Trails Keswick – 5th September 2015

The Lakeland Trails start and finish at Fitz Park in Keswick. It consists of three potential courses, each well marshalled and marked out, of course, and suitable for runners of different aptitudes. There is the 10km Derwentwater Trail Run, the 15km Derwentwater Trail Race and a 15km Derwentwater Trail Challenge. If you are wanting to experience some of the finest views the area has to offer, then the Lakeland Trails Keswick is certainly worth considering; taking in views of the surrounding peaks of Skiddaw and Blencathra as well as the northern fells.

The Cumberland Ale 10 – 13th September 2015

The Cumberland Ale 10 is a 10 mile road race which sees competitors taking to the scenic roads of the area. It commences and finishes at the Jennings Brewery in Cockermouth and entrants must be over 17 years of age. All entrants above 18 receive a bottle of Cumberland Ale upon completion, so it’s worth doing for that alone!

Utterly Buttermere Open Water Swim Sportive -  30th September 2015

As the former two events consist of running, we felt it only fair to represent you swimmers out there. The Utterly Buttermere event consists of three potential distances, 1500m, 5k and 10k – dependent on your ability – and sees competitors take to the waters of brisk and beautiful Buttermere.
